UAE Public School Exams: Free Covid PCR Tests for Students – News

The Department of Education will be offering a free RT-PCR test for students to take grade 12 exams in person later this month.

The 3rd session of grade 12 exams for public and private schools that follow the ministry’s curriculum will take place this month.

A protocol has been formulated to ensure the highest standards of health and safety for students, teachers, non-teaching and support staff.

“One of the basic conditions mentioned in the protocol is to present the result of the Covid-19 test, which should not be more than 4 days before entering the school. The negative result of the PCR test of the Al-Hosn application must be printed and given to the supervisor. The PCR test will be offered free of charge, ”said a senior education official.

Any student who is suffering from a Covid-19 infection or anyone who has been in contact with the infected person should not attend school.

Students must arrive at the school at least 30 minutes before the exam.
